Puppy School
The early months of your puppy’s life is such an important time to introduce them to the world and show them how you want them to behave.
Having a well-mannered member of the family is important for everyone in this day and age and one of the best ways to start getting them on the right track is by bringing them along to our puppy school.
Puppy school is just like kindergarten for kids where they (and you) will learn invaluable lessons for life.
Some of the topics covered at our puppy school include:
Understanding your puppies critical period of development and how it effects them
Understanding normal puppy behaviour
How to effectively introduce your puppy to the world around us
Developing healthy interaction skills with other dogs
Common puppy problems such as toilet training, mouthing, biting, barking & jumping
Some basic obedience skills e.g. Sit, Drop, Recall
Puppy school is appropriate for dogs aged 8-16 weeks and they must have at least had their first vaccination.
Puppies are encouraged to start as early as possible within this timeframe.

Further training for your dog
Training your dog is a journey that goes far beyond puppy school. It is an excellent way to bond with your furry friend and ensure a strong, happy and healthy relationship.
Teaching your dog appropriate manners whilst giving you the confidence to handle your dog in everyday circumstances is crucial to having a happy life together. Knowing how to train your dog is a skill that needs to be developed.
Having the right guidance and understanding what works for your dog is equally important and whilst training can begin at any age, the earlier you start the less likely your dog is to pick up the bad habits you do not want.
All training is run indoors and aims at bringing you and your dog closer together and building a relationship based on mutual respect.
